Hope you are all well today. The girlfriend and I have just come back from a lovely weekend visiting family. The dogs loved it too, being able to play in my parents huge garden!
Todays post is going to be about laptops and which ones are good at the end of 2015 and the beginning of next year.
The HP ZBook 15u G2 is a very solid started. It’s not cheap, nearly $2000 but you get a very good laptop for the money. It could even prove popular with professionals, it’s that good. Lots of power and a very quiet machine.
If gaming is your thing then you have to consider looking into the Gigabyte P37X. At around $2500 it is very expensive, but inside you have one of the finest graphics processors available in the world, and when you play your favourite PC game on there, you’ll know where your money went.
A little cheaper in the spectrum, closer to the $1000 mark we have the Acer Aspire V3-574G. The CPU is very good for a laptop of this price but the battery life takes a hit.
Now we can’t have a list of best laptops without mentioning Apple. This years model of the 15” Retina Display is a mean beast of a machine, what you would expect for the price it will cost you. It does have the trackpad that Apple have been banging on about and it is very good. The battery has been improved and the flash storage is very mean indeed. It would be my laptop of choice in the price range, if gaming isn’t your aim.
